  • 18 holes, 71 par, 6726 yards. Desert.

The South Course at The Boulders Golf Club offers a challenging round with beautiful views and a stunning back drop. Nestled in the Sonoran Desert this 18-hole course features luscious fairways, a contrast to the environment the course meanders through. The North Course, the older and longer of the two, is the original offering from the resort with both courses overlooking the Black Mountains.

The shorter of the two Jay Morrish-designed courses, The South Course, offers a challenging test of your handicap with positional play at times proving more important than long hitting. The signature 545 yard 5th hole is surrounded by towering boulder formations and desert beauty, a contributing factor as to why it is an award-winning course. Being awarded top honours from Golf Magazine and Golf Digest is clear thanks to the elegant layout, making for an unforgettable golf break experience.

This recognized course has opportunities for birdie at the 12th and a tricky 455-yard par 4 at the 8th. The experience however starts from the moment you step on the first tee; a 421-yard dogleg right is met with a 40-foot rock formation towering the approach to the green.

South Course at The Boulders Golf Club is situated less than an hour’s drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, north of Scottsdale.
