  • 18 holes. par 71. 6,572 yards. Links.

Considered as one of the best links courses in Scotland, the Old Course at Moray Golf Club ensures a fantastic experience for all visiting golfers. Moray Old Course was founded in 1889 and designed by Old Tom Morris who also played in a number of exhibition matches at the course. This true links layout delivers golfers dramatic views out to the North Sea, rippled gorse lined fairways, pot bunkers and well-manicured greens.

Moray Old Course plays host to a number of unforgettable holes, in particular the 11th or ‘Lighthouse’ which is a challenging hole, that as the name suggests offers lovely views of the traditional Covesea Lighthouse. The par four 18th or aptly named ‘Home’ is a great finishing hole that consists of a bunker strewn fairway and green protected by the equally fittingly named ‘Hells Bunker’, not to mention the out of bounds on the right that stretches the length of the hole. Overall, links golf does not get much better than a round on Moray Old Course, so be sure to include it in a customized golf vacation to Scotland.
