  • 18 holes, par 72, 6921 yards. Links.

Although it is not quite as well established as the Ailsa course, the King Robert the Bruce Course has proven to be an excellent links course in its own right. With beautiful undulating greens, luscious fairways and breath-taking ocean holes, this course really does have it all.

The King Robert the Bruce Course was opened for play in 2001, and in 2004 was used to host the Open Championship final qualifying round, which is a testament to how quickly the course matured. The elevations, peaks and troughs built into the terrain create beautiful perspectives of the surrounding scenery, as well as adding a stern challenge to your round of golf. The par four 8th is widely regarded as Kintyre’s signature hole - with an elevated tee shot towards the sea and a hidden approach shot, this hole is as challenging as it is beautiful.
