18 holes, par 72, 6860 yards. Links.
The European Golf Club was designed by Pat Ruddy, a famous golf-writer and course designer whose work can also be seen at Druids Glen, Rosapenna and Ballylifin, amongst many more. Ruddy opened the club for play in 1993 where he and his family have stayed ever since. Straying slightly from tradition, The European Links actually has an additional two holes, creating a par 77 if you so wish to play them.
The course is regularly listed in the top 10 courses in Ireland, and was even selected as one of the top 100 courses outside of the US by the prestigious Golf Digest magazine. The golf course at the European Club epitomizes links golf – with large sand dunes, sweeping Irish Sea winds and copious bunkers, you will struggle to find a more challenging course in Ireland. We suggest you keep an eye out for the long par four, 7th (470 yards), the water hazardous 13th and the dune filled par three, 14th.
We highly recommend The European Club, and we promise that you will not be disappointed!

Tee Times
Due to the popularity of the European Links Course, we suggest that you book your tee time before arriving at the venue. There is a chance that you will be paired up with other groups if the course is overly busy, however you can pay for a 4 ball if you want to avoid this.
Attire in Golf ClubhouseWe recommend that you wear regular golfing attire.
Caddies and CartsGolf carts are available at the course for a price of 40 euros per buggy. The use of a buggy is not always guaranteed and is usually dependent on the weather. Electric trolleys and pull trolleys are also available at a smaller charge.
