    Winner of the IGTOA Links course of the year award and host to two Irish Open, County Louth is one of the finest links courses in Ireland. Better known as Baltray, the course is one of Ireland’s best kept secrets.


    County Louth often flies under the radar but there is no disputing its place as one of Ireland’s finest links courses. Laid out in two loops of nine, there are no weak holes on the layout. The course is perhaps best known for its brilliant greens, which are undisputedly among the finest in the country.


    Formed in 1892, the prestigious club has hosted a number of prestigious events, including the Irish Open in 2004 and 2009, the Irish Women’s Amateur Open, and R&A Open Qualifying.


    County Louth has been rated in Golf Digest’s Top 100 courses in the world as a ‘hidden gem’.


    The course is situated 4 miles from the historic town of Drogheda at the mouth of the river Boyne
