  • 18 holes, par 72, 6318 yards. Links.

The Cashen Course at Ballybunion was designed by legendary course architect Robert Trent Jones Senior and opened its doors for play in 1984 - making it over 90 years younger than its predecessor, Ballybunion Old Course. Although Jones built Cashen on the same undulating terrain as the Old Course, in many ways it is more beautiful and more challenging. It has the ocean on one side and the river on the other, creating a breath-taking landscape for an enjoyable game of golf.

Its stunning landscape and fresh sea air are part of the Ballybunion experience. Understandably the general population travel to play the famous Old Course, but do not overlook the Cashen course as this hidden gem is well worth a visit.
